This eyecatching cotton fabric is printed in Helsinki and features the Jokeri Papajo pattern. This is a captivating combination of two patterns made in the 1960s by the amazingly talented, Annika Rimala. The contrast of beige and turquoise allows for the large scales design to compliment smaller preportioned ones. The Jokeri pattern was inspired by contemporary youth culture while the Papajo pattern came from the beauty of Maya civilization. By combining these two designs, Annika was able to create a unique pattern unlike anything else.
