Because of this, it’s thought it has a touch of homesickness in it. Perhaps Isola was yearning to be back in Finland where wildflowers like marigold bloom in the morning dew. Here, the flowers are stunning in shades of lilac and green on a fresh ecru backdrop. Printed in Finland, this 100% acrylic-coated cotton fabric is perfect for tablecloths and runners thanks to the easy-to-clean material, though it can serve many purposes. Please note: This fabric is coated in acrylic, not PVC as Marimekko fabric previously was. Although it is less shiny and smooth than the PVC fabrics, it has even greater benefits. A safe and eco-friendly alternative, acrylic-coating has better stain repellent qualities than PVC, is machine-washable, and is foldable without leaving marks on the fabric.
