The design is printed using natural indigo, a plant-based dye extracted from Finnish woad. Machine washable, it will naturally lighten with cleaning, use, and light, so is best kept out of direct sun. The pattern came to Isola when she was “dancing with brushes,” as she said in 1961. After evenings spent painting in gentle, sweeping brushstrokes to the sway of music, this rhythmic pattern was born. Made in Finland, use this 100% cotton fabric to create curtains, table linens, wall hangings, and more.
