Maija Louekari’s 2017 Veljekset pattern celebrated Finland’s 100th anniversary of independence and has been brought back this year in striking shades of violet. Inspired by Finnish folk tales, it artfully depicts the wildlife that inhabits the northern country. It is featured on the Marimekko Kaika Zip Pouch, which is perfect for pencils, cosmetics, toiletries, and other odds and ends. The cotton exterior is durable and the black polyamide interior makes it easy to wipe clean in case of makeup spills. With the zip closure, you don’t have to worry about anything getting loose in a larger bag.
